Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions? Ours aren’t too elaborate or major, but we always make a point to gather with family and come together for a Thanksgiving dinner.

This year I had a new idea to create gratitude cards for anybody who wanted to record the things that they’re thankful for.

So I wanted to share them with you too: free Thanksgiving printable gratitude cards.

Gratitude Cards

This project barely takes any effort at all, and could be such a cool addition to your Thanksgiving traditions. I’m planning on helping our kids write out theirs and saving them each year in their memory books.

I think it’ll be so neat to be able to look back over the years and see what’s on their little minds when it comes to being thankful.

More Ideas to Add to Your Thanksgiving Traditions

I love creating family traditions. I have some longstanding traditions that I was born into, and others that we have created for our own family. Each of them is so special.

Thanksgiving Activity for Kids

You can easily turn this free Thanksgiving printable into an activity for kids!

For younger children, you can help lead a conversation about gratitude and help them describe the things they’re thankful for while you write on their cards.

For older kids, just hand them the cards and let them fill in their thoughts!

If you like, you can read the cards to each other around the table. Or you could also keep them private and store them away in a memory book to read another year.

How to Make Printable Gratitude Cards for Thanksgiving

Materials

• Printable Gratitude Card file (Download it for free below!)
• computer + printer
• white cardstock
• scissors or paper trimmer

Make Time: 5 Minutes

1. Download the file below and print the Gratitude Cards on white cardstock.
2. Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut out the cards; there are four to a page, so plan accordingly as far as how many you’ll need.
3. Set the cards out with pens at Thanksgiving and encourage your friends and family to record what they’re thankful for! You can let them keep their card to themselves, or even go around the dinner table and have people read what they wrote.
