diy rag knit bathmat
I’m not sure why, but this little 30 by 31 project has been eluding me forever! It actually started out on the 30 by 30, and I didn’t quite make the deadline. But here she is in all her glory — a rag knit bathmat, by yours truly.
I came across this pattern on cocoknits last year, and decided I had to try it. It looked a little intimidating at first, but it’s beyond simple once you break it down. I used an old queen-sized sheet, ripped it into shreds, and used size 17 needles to knit it back into this mini masterpiece! And the best part about the whole thing? It’s super-soft and cushiony under your feet.
Check out cocoknits for bunches of other cool (free!) knitting patterns. xoxo

This is so beautiful and unique. I’m sure to try it.
As far as I know, hand-knitted items are quite valued because they involve human labor and time spent on them. If you knit a lot and would like to turn it into your business, you could talk to wolf and shepherd customer service and try to get them to list your items on their site.
